Been to two Carol Services this week. The second I went to, to see a friend pick up an award.
They were both good services, however the second one had a large number of Explorer Scouts, now anyone who works with the 14 to 18 age group will know that Carol Services are not at the top of the list when it comes to events that young people want to go to.
So why the difference ?
When both sets of leaders are very good, but the second grouping have created a cross district community - is this the key to why so many attended ?
